Friedrich Schleiermacher had various hairstyles during his lifetime. He became famous as an outstanding philosopher, theologian, translator and university teacher. However, the German theologian, philosopher, and biblical scholar was mostly known for his unique public appearances and his likable personality. Before his tragic death at the age of 66 he was again and again in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids due to his superb hair.
